"I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes. I'm out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

My Path as a Yogi, DAY 2

~1 mi. jog
30 min. yoga sesh
15 min. stretching sesh

Is it appropriate to call myself a Yogi? I’ve dabbled in the practice here and there for the past couple years, but am only taking this seriously now. It’s amazing when I watch videos of people doing many different asanas and being so FLEXIBLE. The control of each movement and the gracefulness of each transition is impressive.

Right now, I am trying to make Yoga my anchor. Life can be quite chaotic and many things can get swept in the madness. It’s actually really nice. When I was younger, I used to think that the music and those serious faces people made were kind of cheesy and funny. But looking at it now, that discipline takes quite an effort to gather up. And I want that for myself.

Alright Future Sarah, when you’re reading this you better not think twice or hesitate about calling yourself a Yogi! DO WORK!
